Honestly, it couldn't be easier! To install after purchase, open your Lightroom Classic CC, go to Module - File - Install Profiles & Presets. The two presets will be installed and visible under User Presets and you can select "Add to Favorites" for even easier access. You should see LAUREN FAIR COLOR and LAUREN FAIR B&W. Once I apply the preset to my images, I then adjust the white balance / tint, exposure and contrast - that's about it! I normally only need those adjustments in order to love my image. We've intentionally made this the easiest to use preset on the market.

Q: Are these presets for film photographers only? I just shoot digital!

A: These presets are for everyone! I specifically designed these to be simple, easy to use, and not specifically "film-matching" only. They are beautiful presets designed for anyone who loves a light, romantic, true to life skin tone style of editing.

Q: What are some tips to get the best results with these presets?

A: I shoot my digital images in the following way to make the presets the easiest to use: I shoot perfectly exposed or a touch underexposed if I need to retain highlights. I always shoot with custom white balance (Kelvin), which I find speeds up the editing process tremendously and helps the presets apply beautifully from the get-go. If you're used to shooting with auto white balance, no worries - just adjust the warmth and tint in Lightroom as your very first adjustment to get it closest to the intent of the presets! I shoot my images primarily backlit (with the sun behind my subjects) and intentionally use light backgrounds and avoid deeply heavy shadows as a backdrop.

Q: How do I get the .xmp presets to sync to my phone?

A: If you have Lightroom Creative Cloud subscription, it's easy! We'll email you detailed instructions after purchase. If you do NOT have Lightroom Creative Cloud installed on your computer, you can purchase the Mobile-Only version of our presets!

Q: Are there just two presets in my desktop purchase?

A: Yes! I solely work with just my main color and b&w preset and tweak images to my liking. The mobile presets are totally different and include 12 or 15 depending on the collection to use on different phone photos within the Lightroom app on your phone!
